Northernthortz is what the name suggests; thoughts from a northern perspective. The name is unique, Thor being the norse God of Thunder. But it doesn’t originate in Scandinavia. Northernthortz is Canadian and sees the world from that angle. A lot of questions have been asked about where the name comes from, so here’s the answer. The word ‘Northernthortz‘ is unique. It is not in any dictionary. I made it up. Why you ask? Because by being unique it cannot be confused or missed by search engine robots like Google or Bing and it basically stands alone. So I developed a unique name which works as I come from the Great White North and the ‘thortz’ is just a play on words! Put it together and you have a 21st Century name that cleverly stands separate and well describes the independent, creative thinking that you can read here.
This blog features different thoughts and advice on a range of topics that people face everyday particularly in the ever complex world of business. As the masthead says, it is full of food for thought and fuel for action! I do not write daily. I write when I have something to say. I try not to get wrapped up in myself and am continually fighting time poverty. Nevertheless, thank you for taking the time to visit and I hope you’ll get something positive out of your reading!
